1st September so we’re now in steaming hot porridge oats season with a few blueberries chucked on top 👍 the healthy option for breakfast #vanscran

Another long weekend away in the van stayed local this time the plan was to tour the county’s coast I got as far as Broughton in Furness took one look at the hills of the Duddon valley and headed there. I shall resume my coastal adventure soon from Duddon estuary to Arnside 🌊

My mother has been searching through the mountains of old photos my dad took from back in the 1980s came across Gaz the roofer /demolition /builder operative where’s the scaffolding ? Obviously not much health n safety back in the day. 🪜

Reminiscing tonight. The Ford Capri I wish I had parked it up in the barn 36 years ago instead of trading it in for a Vauxhall Astra GTE It would be great to take it out for a spin again #fordcapri #calypso #1980s 👍 🚗

That feeling when you start a job then stand back and think WTF have I done to the lawn 🤷‍♂️ I put down some moss killer last week and it killed alright !! 70% of the lawn apparently was moss so I’ve scarified it and over seeded and fingers crossed 🤞 #gardening

Sometimes a split shift has its advantages with a couple of hours walk around Gelt Woods with my pal in the sunshine then back to work later 👍
