Tomorrow, Friday, 3/3/23 is a Required Teacher Workday for all Traditional Schools. Students on the traditional calendar will not report to school tomorrow. Northampton County Early College has a regular school day tomorrow and those students will report at their regular time.

There will be a Teacher Recruitment Fair tomorrow, Friday, 3/3/23 from 10am-2pm @ Kirkwood Adams Community Center, 1100 Hamilton Street, in Roanoke Rapids. This fair is not limited to teaching positions! Please share this with anyone interested in being a part of the NCS family!

Kindergarten Registration for 2023-2024 is approaching very soon! If your child is currently in our Pre-K program at CES or GSLA, you do not need to register for kindergarten. FMI, call CES at 534-3381 or GSLA at 537-2520.

Pre-K Early Bird Registration is quickly approaching! It will be held on Fri., 3/17/23 from 8:30a-3p at the Northampton Co. Wellness Center in Jackson. Please see the flyer below for more information!

Northampton County Schools will have an Early Release Day, Thursday, 4/6 at 12:00 noon. Spring Break will be observed from Friday, 4/7 through Friday, 4/15.  During this time, all schools and offices will be closed.  All schools will reopen 4/17.  Have a safe and restful break!

All schools except for the Northampton County Early College will have an Early Release Day tomorrow, Thursday, May 18, 2023.  Traditional schools will dismiss at 12:00 p.m.

All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 in observance of Memorial Day.  Traditional calendar students will return to school on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  Have a safe and happy holiday!

As our school buses go back on the roads for the 2023-2024 school year, this is a friendly reminder on what the state laws are when approaching a stopped school bus. Always be sure to follow these important rules to keep our students safe at their bus stops!
