Some birds from a very wet morning's walk - Little grebe on the Main lake, the perennial problem of a Chiffchaff getting in the way of a branch picture, Teal & Green sandpiper on the Island lake

The wet weather brought some good birds including the juvenile Spoonbill (just missed) & this juvenile Black tern that briefly hawked the Reed-bed in the rain, before departing

From this morning's damp & overcast walk - Eclipse Wigeon on the Reed-bed, Chaffinch (Dryham lane), Little egret landing on Cell 'A' & 3 of the 4 Ringed plovers today on West Holm

Distant shots of the summer plumaged Bar-tailed godwit, that very briefly graced East Holm before flying off to the west
