At Sydney Town Hall - LET US MARCH.

At Martin Place this evening, not far from NSW Parliament and Sydney Hospital, protesting for the right to protest and against police brutality. There was a strong sense of solidarity as we united in our anger at what was done by police last Monday night.

Sydney rally today at Hyde Park. And we marched through the city again. And the signs, as usual, were brilliant.🇵🇸

Another rally at Town Hall - this time to protest against the proposed banning of slogans. Long live the intifada. As usual, the police were there just in case an always peaceful protest might need some policing. And a lovely varied crowd looks on.

The horrors of war. And our politicians think this is ok and provide support.

Palm Sunday rally and march in Sydney. Numbers were not big but the commitment to peace was huge. “1-2-3-4, No more bombing, no more war”.

I don’t go to churches much, but what a lovely setting at Pitt St Uniting Church where we gathered to farewell three of the Australian representatives who are part of the next flotilla to Gaza. Their speeches/ songs were inspiring.

Received a lovely thanks from a young Lebanese woman walking with her husband and children back to Central as we left Belmore Park, for showing up and supporting Lebanon at the “Stand with Lebanon” rally in Sydney. Wish I could do more to stop the bloodshed from Israel’s actions.

Tonight’s Vigil for Lebanon - sombre and thoughtful and uplifting. A diverse community gathered at Sydney Town Hall to stand with Lebanon against the Israeli aggression and crimes against humanity.

What you were wearing - Sydney rally on Saturday against violence against women. Started at Belmore Park and finished at Hyde Park. That cathedral has looked over so many protests.

Rally and march today in Sydney in support of Palestinian Prisoners. Acts of evil committed by Israel against men, women and children. And our government calls Israel “our friend”. How dare they!
