This is so funny. If you put Mitch Barnhart in a room with a marshmallow and told him if he didn’t eat it for 15 minutes he’d get a second marshmallow he is walking out of that room having had only one marshmallow 100% of the time.

Pope could be quite good and it is still entirely possible (likely?) Calipari will be better at Arkansas over the next five years which means someone in Kentucky will try to burn Pope’s house down. Seems bad imo.

Is tonight funny? Yes.

But on the other hand, I’m smart enough to know Calipari getting clipped by a guy hitting 10 3s is a freak variance event and he actually had a pretty good team.

Which means Cal could make the Final Four at Arkansas next year.

West Virginia hired a basketball coach with more NCAA tournament wins than the basketball coaches hired by Louisville and Kentucky combined.

Funny that what got Cal run out of town was he was the best recruiter of all time but thought actually coaching was ancillary to the job and Kentucky fans are going to immediately kill Pope (who had ***BYU*** good in the Big XII immediately) for not recruiting 5 burger kids

This is the most mad Kentuckians have been about a Pope since the 1960 presidential election.

Kentucky I also have never won a NCAA Tournament game why didn’t you offer me $5 million.
