This is incredibly exciting news, a definite must see for next month No.1 Royal Crescent! The paintings have strong local ties to the area and serve as excellent displays of Gainsborough's artistry. It is a joy to see the artwork be displayed in our city, which he once called home.

We've started installing a new exhibition No.1 Royal Crescent and it's looking incredible. My favourite (today!) is Joy Labinjo's huge painting of Susanna Cullen, wife of Olaudah Equiano.
Installation is underway for our new portraiture exhibition "Being There", opening this Saturday! πΌ Here's a flavour of what to expect - but nothing beats being there. Tickets: no1royalcrescent.org.uk/whats-on/new-eβ¦ #artexhibition #museum #artlovers #modernart #artgallery #exhibiton
