So fun attending the #republicanDebate with Harry Arora and our son, and great to see so many young people in the audience. Republicans have a lot of strong candidates & ideas to get our country back on track. #Milwaukee

The BIPARTISAN BOE budgeted $70 MILLION for a new CMS and the BIPARTISAN BET approved. The BOE then designed a school 50% over state guidelines and 60% over budget. We have advocated for a compromise. Unfortunately, @Greenwich_Dems want taxpayers to foot the $45 MILLION overage.

jennifer andrews @Greenwich_Dems The building committee voted down an independent estimate for CMS. At $900/gsf or $112,000,000, the proposed CMS will be the largest and most expensive elementary/middle school built in CT over the last decade.

At $112 MILLION, CMS will be the most expensive middle school built in CT over the last decade. It will also be the largest and only school built 52% over guidelines (and 60% over budget). Enrollment is predicted to decline even further. Why are we overbuilding and overspending?

I think it’s worth noting how Vivek Ramaswamy and Ro Khanna engage with each other on this thread. They acknowledge where they agree. They acknowledge where they disagree. They talk about any misgivings and give the other person a chance to address it. This is how most

Long term stability requires eliminating Hamas and not appeasing their sponsors with a $6 billion incentive. Senator, your party needs to do, not just say.

"I am proud to say that last year, the BET, under Republican leadership, worked collaboratively with our town departments to pass a historic budget. Roughly $482mm operating and $112mm capital while managing to contain our property tax rate increase to 1%" patch.com/connecticut/gr…

jennifer andrews Greenwich Republicans Would you allow kids in one part of school while remediation is occurring in another? Can we get in writing no child will be exposed to hazmats? Asbestos is airborne & deadly once disturbed. Do it when they’re out of school or off property. Give the parents the plan to sign off.

Democrats want more spending & increased taxes. In Greenwich, Democrat BET members are running on a platform to take on long-term debt, raise taxes, and spend without constraints. Democrat policies would increase taxes by up to 50% over the next few years. greenwichtime.com/opinion/articl…

Judge orders a new election in Connecticut town after surveillance video showed ballot stuffing in drop boxes! That this happened here is beyond reasonable doubt. The only question is how common it is.

Congrats to Fred Camillo 🇺🇸 , Lauren Rabin , Jackie Budkins, Heather Smeriglio & all of our Row B candidates. The Republican BET, facing a tough race, also got over the finish line. Thank you Greenwich! Time to come together now and serve.

Happy Diwali 🪔! From Wiki: Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights with its variations also celebrated in other Indian religions. It symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance"

Agree with this veto. Raising the threshold for bidding on public contracts could result in suboptimal contracts for municipalities, either in cost or quality.

Democrat BET members claimed Greenwich was in a “fund balance deficit,” citing a year-over-year decrease from $71.2 million to $69.2 million, and proposed raising taxes to “restore” the fund balance.
