Free agent center Drew Dalman reached agreement Monday on a three-year, $42 million deal that includes $28 million guaranteed with the Chicago Bears, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal makes Dalman the NFL's second-highest paid center.

I'm getting a lot of pushback on my suggesting the 49ers pick up CJ Gardener Joihnson off waivers. I get it, big ego, malcontent. I'm that desperate to upgrade safety. That said, there's no way Lynch adds him. They're screwed until Mustapha returns.
