Had an interesting day today. Caught up with an old friend over lunch and we talked about publishing, Kickstarters, writing for other people, working on our own projects and other varying topics. Sometimes it's nice to just hang out with other authors and see we're not alone in

Nothing like coming back to a novel you’ve set aside for a few years and trying to remember what the heck is going on. *sigh* Started back on my MilSF novel today. Revised/rewrote the first two chapters and then added 2662 new words to the project. I had 58k already written,

OK, and 17 pages edited tonight. I still find first edits go better by hand than editing on the computer. That way, when I type in these edits, I'll probably be doing second edits as I go, because as I'm typing stuff in, it helps me see other areas that aren't flowing well.

Edited 10 pages of "Debt of Honor" while waiting for the doctor. Getting ready to head out now and write more on "Steel on Target". Will be going over my editor's notes for "The Burning Cauldron" this weekend. And honestly, loving every minute of it.

Home from another good afternoon of writing. Added 3522 words to "Steel on Target" and added a host of new names to the 7th Armored Cavalry's TO&E (which if you're writing MilSF, you really need a TO&E to keep things straight unless you're doing really small units. #amwriting

Time to start the writing sessions for the week. Going to be a little light - we have company coming in for the weekend, so I may not be adding many new words after Wed, but I'll try to get some editing done in down time. But, we're shooting for three new chapters this week.

Went writing today, but working on four hours of sleep tends to make one a touch fuzzy. Still knocked out 1763 words, but I'm definitely running out of steam. I suspect it's going to be an early night tonight. #amwriting
