We've had to take Nightbot offline on YouTube for a bit due to a bug causing Nightbot to join the wrong chat. We're working with YouTube to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Nightbot should be back online on Twitch again. It looks like Twitch decided it was a good time to reset all our passwords and credentials (which we have to manually recreate), without notifying us. 🤗

Nightbot should be back online on Twitch at this time. It looks like there was unhandled emote data received which caused Nightbot to fatally crash when received. Twitch has since patched the root cause of this bad data, so it hopefully should not reoccur.

Apologies for the Nightbot outage on Twitch. For context: Nightbot was disconnected from Twitch around 18:59 ET and has been unable to successfully reconnect since. We’re still working to restore access, but we have yet to identify a root cause on our end.

This issue is resolved as of 00:22 ET. Please let us know if you continue to experience issues, but things look calm again on our end.

An update on the Twitch situation: Twitch must have changed their rate limits. As of this moment recovering proves difficult.

Nightbot is currently experiencing an outage on Twitch due to an API component from Twitch being down. We’re seeing if there’s anything we can do to work around this.

Nightbot should be back online at this time. We’re working on a contingency plan to allow for more resiliency to the same kind of situation in the future.
