With half-term upon us, there are just a handful of games this weekend for Nidd United JFC teams: Tomorrow, our U18 girls host @BBLFC On Sunday: U13s South team host Boroughbridge Juniors FC and U14s travel to Ripon Panthers Enjoy the matches everyone!

"We learn more when we lose" is a lesson for every child playing football (& coach coaching them). Grassroots should never be win at all costs, but about using all possible ways to improve.

No confirmation from the The FA or West Riding FA yet but this from the Secretary of State this evening. It looks like it’s lockdown for grassroots sports activities too.

Learning how to deal with both success and failure is one reason why sport is so good for any child. Work ethic, determination, resilience and team work are a few out of a thousand more. Investment in grassroots = more opportunity = more life skills.
