Most of week off 🏃🏼♀️recovering post Grand Union Canal 145 mile Race (GUCR) but managed first run back in Stratford & enjoyed some new scenery with lots of walking in between #NHS1000miles #Thinkfeetbelongtomeagainthankfully

Great to listen to the stories from volunteers & staff on the impact our Nottingham CityCare volunteers have on patients, teams but also how volunteering for some has changed their lives - Humbling & inspiring all at the same time & we can’t say thank you enough 🙏 #WeAreCityCare

#NHS1000miles - loving seeing all the new ducklings out on the local canal while out running this weekend🏃🏼♀️ Legs getting back to normal post Grand Union Canal 145 mile Race (GUCR) & busted toe seems to finally be on the mend - Count down to Nomad 50 in few weeks which is a favourite local ultra


Great to be able to visit & speak to teams today at one of our Nottingham CityCare bases & spend time with our Unpaid Carers network talking about the challenges people face as carers, the support they get from the network & how we can raise awareness during Carers week #WeAreCityCare



Great to meet our Nottingham CityCare PCN3 community nursing team today What I saw was great team work and people who are passionate about supporting the people they serve and committed to delivering person centred care #WeAreCityCare


#NHS1000miles - not many miles this week as been busy but local trails are still looking lovely Shout out to my fellow Nottingham CityCare runners who let me join them for a run at the Monday night CityCare run club - great group of people who are keen to support others to take part 🏃🏼♀️


Great to get to meet some of our Nottingham CityCare staff award winners at today’s board meeting - some amazingly talented people who are going above & beyond Record breaking number of nominations this year showcasing the impact of our people within CityCare - Huge well done!

1st month in & have really enjoyed getting to know some of our Nottingham CityCare teams & hear what’s working well & what could be even better if. Despite the pressures we all face a real sense of purpose and dedication from our people. Massive thanks for the welcome to Team CityCare!

Today I joined Nottingham CityCare palliative care team on visits I heard how they support people to live the best lives they can despite having a palliative diagnosis, the challenge of growing complexity, supporting homeless people & much more - community care at its best #WeAreCityCare


Great to open my 1st Nottingham CityCare Leadership council yesterday We talked about the building blocks for wellbeing as a principle for delivering integrated neighbourhood care, our future strategy, quality improvement, innovation & supporting teams with active bystander training


Each week I’ve been fortunate to meet some of our amazing Nottingham CityCare teams My visit to St Ann’s really was a masterclass in compassionate care in action & a great reminder of how our teams are living our values & delivering on our mission every single day. #WeAreCityCare
