Following Tabula Muris Senis, I'm working on the next-generation mouse ageing atlas and need recommendations! What omics do you want to see? What longitudinal physiological assays? B6 and HET3s at 6/12/18/24mos. nmgn.mrc.ukri.org/clusters/agein…

I think a lot of the debate/controversy around using a term like "biological age" could be solved by always including a description of the specific measure(s) involved. Never say "biological age" alone. Always use e.g. "whole blood DNA-methylation biological age"

Imagine you could be >95% sure that your next western blot or PRM assay was going to work. Now imagine that your western blot could quantify hundreds of proteins, or your PRM assay could quantify 18 samples at once. We have achieved all of this with GoDig. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Excited to share my new position as a Program Manager ARPA-H . It’s been an incredible journey in academia at the CRM and UCSF MSK Center UCSF Bakar Aging Research Institute where I had the pleasure of working with incredible scientists. I look forward to everything we will achieve in aging/longevity!

Our community mourns the loss of Charles “Chuck” Kwok Fai Chan, PhD, professor of surgery. Chan, a stem cell researcher who discovered how to regrow cartilage, will be remembered for his generous spirit as a mentor and colleague. stan.md/3Wb7yUf

Love all the new ways to fund science and tech that are emerging! Seems like a pretty fundamental way to accelerate progress
