It's a shame the NH Public Utilities Commission rejected the ambitious energy efficiency plan submitted by NH's Utilities, and supported by Conservation Law Foundation, last year. That plan would have helped reduce the impacts to families and businesses from these high electricity prices.

Good news: AG Andrea Joy Campbell has asked the Department of Public Utilities to dismiss Liberty Gas’ request for approval to receive so-called “renewable” natural gas (aka biomethane, yet another dangerous, polluting fuel) for the next 20 years. A thread: 1/6 #MAPoli

The NH PUC got it right this week in approving an Eversource NH EV plan that will provide funding for EV charging station infrastructure and a new rate design that will encourage EV charging investments. This provision sets a terrible precedent for overriding bedrock environmental laws, namely the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act. ow.ly/kzSs50M78zX

THREAD: Well, folks, it's late Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend -- and you know what that means! Time for another bombshell from the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission @NHPUC. 1/11

In my capacity as New Hampshire's ratepayer advocate I am respectfully asking all NH House Republicans members and all NH House Democrats to vote against the repeal of the statute requiring integrated resource planning for electric and gas utilities. The bill number is HB 281. 1/4

This would be a disaster for our region. We need to electrify our heating and don’t need expensive and polluting pipelines.
