💫Confirmed by U.S. Department of Education: Current students with loans are eligible for relief. Loans must have been originated prior to July 1, 2022. Dependent students who were enrolled in school during the last award year qualify if their parents’ household income was under $250,000.

Important point of clarification for enrolled students: NASFAA has confirmed that U.S. Department of Education-held loans *disbursed* by June 30, 2022 are eligible for loan forgiveness, as opposed to "loan originated" by July 1 as has been widely reported. #studentloanforgiveness
