Amazing how this can be both lead news and tell us nothing new (hybrids in some form were always going to be allowed to 2035). Apart from Nissan has a hybrid diesel. I didn’t know that

At some point you’ve got to say, c’mon, this isn’t ever happening. He’s always going to pull the ball away. Hunt trying to pretend it might be goer is unedifying

Not if you’re a company car driver! Main reason UK EV sales are growing while other markets are stalling in Europe. Which should play into Polestar’s hands, given company cars are generally more expensive than private.

Got to feel for McLaren. The day before the big W1 unveil and this prick crashes then uploads the evidence of his idiocy!

Casually resting on charge at a Nissan media event in Cranfield. Sakura kei car EV: 3.4m long, seats four, hits 80mph, has a claimed 112 mile range from a 20kWh battery and costs from the equivalent £12,700 in Japan. Do we want it? (Yes)

There it is: the Tesla robotaxi is either a two-seater coupe or a shuttle. Verne (Rimac) came out with a more plausible two-seat cybercab than this, plus gave details of tech (Mobileye Drive) and how they would operate the fleet

UK phone signal is getting worse every month not just mobile data but phone calls too. Every minute I’m like “you’re cutting out I can’t hear you.” Never experienced anything like this in my life

This is arguably bad for the car industry, who are shouldering much of the burden of the EV switch. If you aren’t going to offer purchase incentives to buy electric then send a message that the alternative is going to get progressively more expensive.
