Gukurahundi was a genocide, it cannot be resolved by local chiefs.

We have not done enough work internationally about Gukurahundi genocide.

The imperialist forces were involved in Gukurahundi genocide, as such, an International Commission of Inquiry is needed to investigate the circumstances that led to the genocide.

Apartheid South Africa was involved in Gukurahundi genocide, it trained & deployed dissidents as part of it's distabilisation programme within the SADC region.

Remember that, Apartheid South Africa funded UNITA, Renamo as part of preventing the South African liberation forces to infiltrate South Africa.

The deployment of Gukurahundi soldiers by ZANU (PF) gvt along the military corridor which was to be used by MK cadres to infiltrate South Africa from Zambia, was part of a ZANU (PF) elaborate plan in working with apartheid South Africa to delay the end of apartheid.

Gukurahundi genocide happened during the Cold War. ZANU was established by imperialist forces through Capricorn society in 1963, led by a British intelligence officer to curtail the influence of the USSR in this part of the world.

Some MK cadres and some ANC comrades were arrested in Zimbabwe during Gukurahundi coz of their close relationship with ZAPU.

It is therefore nonsensical to ask traditional leaders who in the main, are ZANU (PF) political commissairs, dressed in traditional regalia to resolve Gukurahundi which has imperialist footprints all over it. The Chiefs have been given a ZANU (PF) script. We reject these hearings

Young people in the ANC Youth League are taught that, ZANU (PF) was a revolutionary party that contributed to the liberation of South Africa. Far from it. ZANU (PF) was & is a reactionary former liberation movement.

Between 1983 - 1987: 1. There was no civil war in Zimbabwe : 2. There was no conflict : 3. There was no Matebeleland disturbances 4. There WAS a genocide, against the people of Matebeleland and parts of Midlands committed by the Zimbabwean state under the leadership of ZANU (PF).

I Ngqabutho Nicholas Mabhena, am a direct victim of the Gukurahundi genocide. When Gukurahundi begin its operations in 1983, l was 13 in the village. When the Unity Accord was signed l was a 17 year . You cannot talk about Gukurahundi victims without talking about me.

I personally respect the choice made by some, who joined ZANU (PF) post 2000 for their economic interests. My request to you is simply, "do not use your ZANU (PF) membership to defend your party when it comes to the genocide it committed, just enjoy your money.

My last post on Gukurahundi today. Gukurahundi was not a Shona project against the Ndebele to advance Shona nationalism. It was a ZANU (PF) project supported by imperialist forces. I will explain the last line some other day. Have a great Monday.
