Agree. Movies today explain too much. And some of this is the result of audiences not being able to process any ambiguity at all

Love that Raimi’s whole thing is dragging his heroes through absolute hell. They’re perpetual punching bags. Really made him perfect for Spider-Man

Pop culture has moved on from Marvel and even reaction culture so quickly and aggressively this feels like a relic from a bygone era. Might as well be wearing period dress with a sepia filter over the top

Thinking about how when Fury Road came out the colorist mentioned how George Miller wanted him to make the movie as vibrant as possible because so many blockbusters releasing at the time were super grey and desaturated and it’s cool how a decade later that gotten even worse

'Godzilla x Kong' director Adam Wingard says Dan Stevens has 'been waiting in the wings to be a major movie star leading man for as long as anyone.'

'It’s really just a matter of the studios and producers catching up to that. But I do think we’re there.' bit.ly/3wbCxVC

You know when a horror movie has a great premise and delivers everything you'd want from it? That's Abigail. It sets the stage wonderfully with a fun group of characters and then unleashes hell. Just keeps getting crazier & bloodier. Alisha Weir & Melissa Barrera are fantastic.

The way Spider-Man 2 parallels the first in so many of its music cues, shots, and scenes is masterful

Truly a sequel to rule all sequel

The best thing about Aunt May's 'There's a hero in all of us' speech in Spider-Man 2 is that the movie reinforces that idea throughout.

Whenever they get the chance, normal everyday people try to save Spider-Man just as often as he saves them and it chokes me up every time.
