🇺🇾🙅‍♂️🛢️Uruguay's investments in renewables has saved an estimated US$1.6bn in fuel imports. This helps to explain why Uruguay's economy is in better shape than others in the region. Second generation investments in green hydrogen may further reduce fuel imports into the 2030s.
