Crazy story developing ahead of this weekends Ashbourne Cup finals. UL have been kicked out of the finals after DCUs scoring tally was retrospectively changed after the group games had concluded. The final score from a game in November was altered this week, Electric Ireland Third Level Camogie

A disappointing decision. These girls have been training every week since October for this opportunity to play in the semi-final, only for it to be stripped away from them a few days before travelling to Dublin. A fair hearing is all we ask for and surely the least we deserve.

This seems very unfair 🤷🏼‍♀️ women's sport in the media for the wrong reasons yet again. Human error occurred, and Electric Ireland Third Level Camogie solution is to throw a team unfairly out of the competition 🤦‍♀️surely this can't happen? UL GAA Club

A massive thank you to the The Camogie Association who showed their support, of St.Caimin's Staff v Students charity camogie match in aid of ACT for Meningitis, by providing all the essential equipment needed. May the best team win. gofund.me/79b64ef8
