The most recent event, the Swollen Elbow Repair, is considered energized. To earn the top spot, journeymen teams must replace an oil-soaked swollen elbow by removing the tip from the elbow, replacing the elbow body and installing a new tip.

Journeyman teams had 16 minutes to compete in the 12KV 900 Amp Switch Change Out event, in which they replaced one of the 900 amp under-slung switches on an 8-foot crossarm on a 40-foot pole. ⚡️
