Lt. Governor Jon Husted had the opportunity to meet students in the agriculture program at the Noble Local Schools Shenandoah High School today. The school district is a champion of business-education collaboration, focusing on real-world, problem-based learning for their students.

Our first 7 students of the year have finished the Interim Cred Course through Newark JATC/IBEW 1105. 19 more students are working to finish soon! This partnership with N-JATC has been so rewarding for these students and has “sparked” interest in this needed and necessary field!

2nd Grade students from NLE and JCE visited Tri-County Career Center to explore in demand careers in our region. Thank you to the students and staff at TriCounty for hosting our kiddos and teaching them about all the exciting things happening there!

3rd Grade from both NLE and JCE made a trip to the Genesis Healthcare System Somerset ER today. Students learned about all the career opportunities within healthcare! Thank you to Jason Adams and staff for a great day!
