SCAM ALERT: Official looking texts are being sent from an alleged bond company using the address of the Sheriff's Office to pay bonds for various offenses using various on line money transfer apps. The Sheriff's Office does not use these types of apps and would not ask for bond.

A gasoline tanker has rolled over on SC 202 in Little Mountain. SC 202 is closed from US 76 to I 26. The tanker is leaking fuel and has 7,000 gallons of petroleum product. The day care is closed. Avoid area.

Wednesday 02/21/2024 0715 All crossings in Little Mountain are closed now. Only Depot St will stay open. Longleaf and Dogwood will stay until the last minute to try minimized their closure. Closed from Caldwell Drive to Cummanlander Crossing. Sam Koon is open now.

ROAD CLOSURE: Due to a large water main rupture and surface damage to highway, SC 391 is closed near Sligh’s Store, with a temporary detour in both directions via Counts Road. SC 391 is closed from Counts Road North to Bedenbaugh’s Gin South.
