Last year Willmott Dixon opened their latest Drylining Academy at HMP LINCOLN. These academies help prisoners gain accredited certification and CSCS cards, enabling them to secure construction work on release. Watch some highlights from the launch 👉 ow.ly/iaTx50SCYiZ


🚆Did you know that City & Guilds deliver Railtrack Courses in four prisons as part of the Future Skills Programme? The 5-week course began in February 2024 and to date 27 prisoners have completed the course and been offered employment as Rail Track Operatives with Civil Rail Solutions.

🗝 Building strong networks is key for Employment Advisory Boards (EABs). A recent EAB meeting at HMP Durham brought together two partners to support a prison leaver secure permanent housing, meaning they could maintain their job. On his ‘moving in’ day, ‘C’ said 👇


The HMP Durham and HMP Altcourse Employment Advisory Boards (EABs) are chaired by Greene King! Through the EABs, improvements have been made to ensure Prison Employment Leads have the correct tools to match candidates to jobs. 👀 Stay tuned for more Greene King news!

👨🍳 As we wrap up Unlocking Hospitality 2024, we wanted to thank all our valuable partners who took part, including Marston's PLC who continue to change lives through their training academy 'The Lock Inn' at HMP Liverpool and recently celebrated recruiting 50 prison leavers. 🎉


The nationwide charity Recycling Lives supports offenders and ex-offenders with employment workshops, stable jobs, and housing. Participants in their workshops have a low 5% reoffending rate. We visited a workshop at HMP Styal to discover why they're so effective.

Across five prison restaurants The Right Course offers authentic hospitality work experience to prisoners, training them to achieve NVQs and gain transferrable skills that can be applied to jobs on release.
