The City of New Albany was honored to take part in a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church. Mayor Jeff Gahan was grateful for the invitation to speak and help honor the life, legacy, and lasting impact of MLK.

The City of New Albany invites community members to Fair Housing 101, an informational session on Thursday focused on fair housing laws, rights, and responsibilities. This presentation is designed to provide helpful guidance and promote equal housing opportunities for all.

On MLK Day, the Griffin Recreation Center hosted a Youth Workshop, bringing children together to learn about Dr. King’s life and legacy. Through art, group games, and storytelling, participants celebrated his message while building connections and having fun.

The City of New Albany is hosting a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Application Workshop on Thursday, January 30, at 2 p.m. in the Media Room at City Hall, 142 E. Main Street. This workshop is open to organizations interested in applying for CDBG funding.
