I don’t know why so many people are under the impression their children are their property. You don’t, as a parent, get to make terrible decisions on health, education etc, that has long term negative impact on your child. You don’t own them.

My favourite conversation from my nights so far.

“What was the head impulse test like?”

“It was negative”

“Okay - so to be clear it was normal on both sides?”

“….it wasn’t done, it was negative”

I suppose that is one interpretation.

I’ve decided to take a step back from social media for a while for personal reasons. I’ve used this platform to try and advocate for social issues that are important to me, but it seems that may be untenable. Some reflection needed on what I want going forwards.

This is infuriating. What do the government think is happening in the ED? Where do they think the slack is that can now be picked up to meet these targets? People are working flat out. If you want more work done, you need to provide more resources. End of story.

Just watched the Murdaugh murders on Netflix and as ever shocked at how often in these US cases clear cut evidence of nepotism / bribery etc in the police force goes completely uninvestigated, and people who seem guilty of some fairly wild suppression of evidence keep their jobs.
