Following the recent completion of extensions to platforms 2 & 3, we will now undertake the same activity at platforms 4 & 5.   Extending platforms by 26m enables longer trains of up to eight carriages to use station – providing more seats for passengers. #GQS

As part of the £120m project to enhance & expand Scotland’s third-busiest station, platforms 4 & 5 will close from Monday, 16 September and reopen for start of service on Monday, 14 October #GQS

During platform closure, engineers will dig out sections of concourse, rebuild sections of platform walls, lay new track & connect to existing infrastructure, extend overhead power lines, install coping stones, and carry-out re-surfacing works. #GQS

As refurbishment work continues on bridge over the River #Clyde on approach to #Glasgow Central, it is important that we are prepared in the event that someone falls into the water from the scaffolding. This is how we do it. #ClydeBridge

Network Rail is advising passengers that the line between #Crianlarich & #FortWilliam will close from Saturday 5th until start of service Monday 14th October. This is to allow vital upgrade & refurbishment works on the #WestHighlandLine. More here gapi.io/65ma
