Metzie #Hobby, an owner and assistant trainer to her husband, Steve Hobby, died Friday in Kentucky at the age of 66. Steve Hobby said services will be at 1 p.m. next Tuesday in the chapel just outside the stable gate at Oaklawn. The Hobbys also have a home in Arkansas.

The #Arkansas HBPA has paid to install Internet service to all 38 barns at #Oaklawn and will cover the monthly usage bill, per press release from the organization representing owners and trainers. "Each barn will have its own router with the wifi password protected," per HBPA.
