One of our year 12 students competed in the final of the prestigious Gresham College national speech competition in London. She came third with an impressive and thought-provoking speech about the power of music on her mental health. #oracymatters

On Monday three of our finest speakers took part in the second round of the national ESU public speaking competition at Lincoln. They gave a strong performance in the closely contested heat but sadly didn’t progress. A great entry in our first year of the competition.

Today over 60 students took part in a Gingerbread decorating competition for the first day of ‘Five lunchtimes of Christmas’ . Student’s had a great time creating their different festive designs! The winners were Miley and Aimee – well done!

The postbox is ready in the PD office to spread some festive cheer! We look forward to seeing you bring your cards in with the name and tutor group of the recipient written on the front ready for our postal elves to deliver them for you 😊
