People please heed this advise. Do NOT ever buy a car from Lookers @LookersNissan NissanUK . Their after service and warranty service is shocking. I’m (or more precisely my wife is) left with a £30k car that’s 18 months old & now unsafe & not fit for purpose. Shocking !

Oh dear shocking service from NissanUK. Apparently when you buy a £30k car with a 3 yr warranty in reality the warranty only allied for 12 months. AVOID Nissan UK and @LookersNissan Lookers . There was me thinking I’d bought a car with 3 yr warranty. Nope

If you want to buy a vehicle that is Fit For Purpose, then my advice would be to avoid NissanUK @LookersNissan Lookers. They’ll refuse to fix your car under warranty after 12 months!

Has anyone else had bad experience with NissanUK or @LookersNissan ? Can anyone understand why they say that the issue with your vehicle would be covered by warranty if the issue was in the first 12 months, but as it’s 15 months old it’s now not covered? Aren’t warranties 3yr?

NissanUK ‘sir there is a problem with your car’. Me ‘ is that not a warranty issue’. Nissan ‘ well as it’s 12+maths old it’s no longer covered’. Me ‘ oh right I thought I bought a car that was fit for purpose & 3 yr warranty’. Nissan ‘erm no it’s not covered’ argument continues

NissanUK Completely not the case. The dealer specifically told me this specific issue was not a wear and tear issue and would be covered by warranty if it were less than 12 months old! Absolute joke. I bought a car with 3 yr warranty

Anyone out there looking for a new car? Before you do, consider this. If you want a vehicle from a manufacturer or dealer that honours the 3 yr warranty the sales guys sell you, DO NOT buy from NissanUK or @LookersNissan they’ll leave you with a car that’s NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE !

Don’t buy a car from @LookersNissan or NissanUK . The after sales and warranty service is awful. Despite the fact that it’s only 15 months old they wont fix my XTrail which is now unsafe and not fit for purpose! Shocking service. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Who else thought that when you buy a brand new car you get a 3 year (some manufacturers do offer longer I know) warranty? Well not with NissanUK or @LookersNissan apparently my £35k X Trail only had 12 month warranty ! Absolutely the worst. I’ll never own another Nissan

If you want to spend £30k+ on a brand new car that only comes with 12 months warranty and will after about 15 months (15k miles) end up unsafe and not fit for purpose then I can highly recommend and X-Trail from NissanUK or @LookersNissan. Great if you like appalling after sales

To date I’ve had a lot of time and respect for Greg James but today he’s crossed a line and I’m not sure I can continue to listen. He has referred to Jaffa Cakes as a ‘Cake’ when clearly they are ‘Biscuits’. they are found in the ‘Biscuit Aisle’ in all good supermarkets after all
