A calm nervous system is not boredom; a grave misconception. Being at peace and calm is not boring: the mind simply got used to constant chaos. Trying to increase chaos to alleviate boredom will just stir more nerves.

With inner peace, external problems will not affect tranquility nor will it distort a positive vision. Without inner peace, no matter the luxuries and comfort of the material world, worries and unhappiness will easily trouble the mind.
