Jeff Kennett has been saying this literally my entire adult life.

I think if you went back and checked when Jeff Kennett and Steve Price first started saying Victoria was doomed it would be the mid-80s for both of them. Try as one does not be cynical. I'm starting to think they might just be saying it for attention.
