Well after 5 years, I turned my Schlenk line off for the last time in the Prof Hevia 🇺🇦 😢 It has been the biggest pleasure to work in this amazing group with the best supervisor anyone could ask for! Have made so many special friends and memories along the way ❤️ #EndofanEra

Thanks so much to our DCBPunibern students and Universität Bern for recognising our #teaching efforts in #organometallic chemistry! So proud to share this recognition with two inspiring lecturers Andreu and Liam K. Burt

Inspiring talk by Joaquín García Álvarez on the power of #DES in #organometallic synthesis and #biocatalysis Facultad de Química - Universidad de Oviedo Thanks so much for bringing your magic to DCBPunibern

Last week we got the news that our Spark project has been funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation 😃🥳 I am looking therefore for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work with me to develop new biorenewable fuels, using organometallic chemistry and designing new catalysts! #NewPI #chempostdoc

Our latest work is here! This is my first paper with iron complexes in the Prof Hevia 🇺🇦 DCBPunibern A project on the making for 3 years: Check the reactivity of this ferrates for hydroamination reactions in ACS Publications #OpenAccess #SNSF doi.org/10.1021/acsorg…

Very pleased to see that the Schlenk Line Survival Guide recently passed 500,000 views!🥳 Happy to also share that the Organometallics tutorial has been translated to French🇫🇷 and Spanish🇪🇸, and are available to download as PDFs from the resources webpage: schlenklinesurvivalguide.com/downloads/

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Andreu Tortajada Navarro Andreu at UnifrChemistry as a Swiss National Science Foundation Swiss National Science Foundation Ambizione Fellow. We are excited to host him as he embarks on his groundbreaking research program. Welcome aboard! #unifr #unifrchemistry

An example of perseverance and team effort delivered by two outstanding researchers Melina Tschopp and Andreu on #sodium catalysed #deuterations in DMSO just out Angewandte Chemie DCBPunibern #200 onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…

Such a way to start the year! Very happy to see this work published, after all the hard work from Melina Tschopp during her master thesis! Check out the cool structure of metalated DMSO and how it allows deuterium transfer to a bunch of molecules.

Delighted to see the work of my masters project published in Angewandte Chemie ! A big thank you to Prof Hevia 🇺🇦 and Andreu for making this possible by giving me the chance to work with them and learn so much in the process! Check it out below ⤵️ onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…

Fully funded 4 year PhD studentship available in our lab, working with Prof Hevia 🇺🇦 and Thomas Group ! Open to UK applicants, working on sodium/iron cooperativity! Check it out at the link below, retweets appreciated 🧪: findaphd.com/phds/project/p…
