My heart just sunk. A few days ago, this account commented on a post of mine, telling me to stop gatekeeping and 'be better'. A few days later, this pops up on their feed with several different prompted images (right) that appear to be based on my drawing (left). (1/2)

TV station: 'Then we'll just use it without your permission by turning it into an illustration with AI. It's just a picture that looks similar, so it's fine.'

Between being called Ableist for not wanting to be used as a shield for GenAI thieves, and the ProNasty AI nonsense, I think I've had MORE than my fill of GenAI crap for the week, weekend is gonna be PURE ME-TIME. Gonna catch up on FFXIV, and play the new Rimworld dlc. 😌

There are people who know how to make backgrounds as if it were magic, but they have weaknesses in terms of characters, we all have our weaknesses, the point is to make an effort to overcome them.

Is dead internet theory really just a theory if the one's mainly in control of the internet are also heavily pushing & funding generative AI which is also leading to the complete destruction of the internet through large scale misinformation, spam and content for no one. 🤔
