From satellites to soil samples, the Natural England England team is working with partners on the England Ecosystem Survey. As part of the Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment, it is a huge undertaking, documenting the state of our natural environment in England.
We are pleased to work with RSPB England to monitor hen harriers, and welcome the encouraging increase in England.
However, illegal killing still casts a shadow over valuable partnership work to recover populations, and we continue to support the police in their investigations.
Trees are vital for climate, nature and people. 🌳
