#NIC2024 Nedbank Lesele: We do programmes through partnerships and referring to our agricultural programmes, we partnered with PALS. Communities got hope and purpouse through this. We also have a Green Agri Premium programme, where 20 learners are educated and mentored.

#NIC2024 Lesele Nedbank: Make an impact that is sustainable. We try to impact the communities where we are involved. We do not only finance, but also partner with someone to walk the road with him to make it possible for him to serve the purpose he wants to.

#NIC2024 John Deere Africa & Middle East Gouws: JD started something small a year ago at Nampo with Vrystaat Landboukollege. We gave them 1 tractor and 1 planter and it made a huge difference to them. In the Eastern Cape we partnered with Senwes. We only educated 2 brothers. Nothing else.

#NIC2024 Engen_SA Emeran: We helped a 10-year old with a passion for farming and who wanted to reduce hunger. He started a park for children to experience farm life. They started growing veggies. You can start helping small, but the benefits will grow big.

#NIC2024 CropScience SA Meintjes: You don't do the right thing to tell everyone about it. You do it because it's the right thing to do. Rural areas need to be strong for farmers to do well. Farmers need to be profitable for us to be sustainable. We help to make it possible.
