The theme of crypto governance experiments being relevant to our democracies has been growing and I'll be honest, it's giving me so much energy to keep pushing.

I guess when V shares your old private voting work and new work with MACI we need to double down on it! Happy to work with any team looking for this functionality. The MACI team are shipping an OSx private voting plugin on Aragon.eth 🦅 and requirements are always

We’ve made a huge effort to change the existing paradigm against strong headwinds, but we’re getting there! Aragon.eth 🦅 roadmap based on vitalik.eth 3 suggestions below: “Multi-level structures” ✅ Privacy with MACI ⏳ AI ⏳ For multi-level structures you can

Quorums are the silent killers of DAOs. We can either fight them, or we can create better systems. Use optimistic flows that give service providers the right to act and tokenholders the right to veto. It's that simple. Works out of the box with Aragon.eth 🦅.

Excellent piece on the evolution of the Optimism collective moving in the direction of veto-based governance. This is a much more sustainable approach than traditional referendum voting. Excited to see it in action! optimism.mirror.xyz/JR5YEsK9-bM6At…

There is currently a vote up in Compound to choose a new governance provider and get the project back on track. Or stick with its existing solution. After watching Compound stagnate and digress since 2021 it seems, imo, that it's time to move to a new provider that can easily

Amazing to see so many major L2s now at stage 1. The next goal we should shoot for is, in my view, fast (<1h) withdrawal times, enabled by validity (aka ZK) proof systems. I consider this even more important than stage 2. Fast withdrawal times are important because waiting a

This is one of those lowkey very important moments for DAOs. The DUNA structure changes how DAOs can interact with the real world without compromising on decentralization. Delighted to see it!

If you're wondering why launch an L1 when you can launch an L2, historically the reason has been to justify the existence of a token. Make of that what you will.
