Deeply saddened by the loss of my colleague Belal Jadallah, a dedicated journalist and kind soul. He is the 43rd journalist killed in Gaza since October 7. This has been the deadliest month for journalists since Committee to Protect Journalists began collecting data more than three decades ago.
