Visited the supercomputer of the German Climate Computing Center during the first week of ITN GMOS-Train Project winter school in Hamburg with @[email protected] 👾🤖

Our month of GMOS Train Modelling Winter School and Hackthon is coming to an end. We will all be enjoying our new Hackathon coffee mugs 😊 Big thanks to the organizers Johannes and Martin!! @[email protected]

How much mercury is emitted from marine hydrothermal vents, and what's its fate in the environment? We are investigating this with the amazing #HOT_Hg team led by Dr Lars-Eric Heimbürger-Boavida by collecting a variety of new field observations and running numerical simulations. Stay tuned!

Great things happen when geology meets oceanography! 🌋 The second paper of my career is published! Big thanks to my supervisor Dr Lars-Eric Heimbürger-Boavida and my coauthors David González-Santana Helene@sea Jeroen Sonke ITN GMOS-Train Project Marseille Marine Mercury Lab
