Today was a special day for us here at the farm, with the birth of this calf. She’s the first IVF biopsy embryo calve we have ever had on the farm. It’s great technology and helps our genetics move in the direction we want.

Well a little late this year and still having to avoid snow around the fields edges, but manure is being applied!

We had a great day with classifier John Peeters , a day we won’t soon forget. Genomics has really shown us how fast we can push our genetic progress in a very short time frame. Along with classification/milk recording , these tools have helped us achieve our goals #scoretheherd
