Last night, we celebrated our incredible volunteers and Dr. Joe Wu, President of American Heart Association, who received the Heart of the Bay Award for his contributions on cardiovascular health at the Bay Area Heart Ball. Thanks Lip-Bu Tan for your visionary leadership of the Heart Ball!

I had the incredible opportunity to tour Dr. Joe Wu's lab at Stanford. Dr. Wu is the American Heart Association President and welcomed a number of Association leaders and supporters to see firsthand the groundbreaking research and medical innovations taking place under his leadership.

This Memorial Day, I hope you'll join me in taking a moment to honor the bravery of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and to remember their legacy with heartfelt gratitude and respect.
