🔬In NAIMA the synthesis of hard carbons using bio sources was achieved. Three main bio based hard carbon materials from different sources (wet biomass, dry biomass, and biopolymer) were investigated to reach our milestones. The picture is WP2 leader presenting their work.

.Umicore has successfully scaled up lamellar oxide cathode materials to TIAMAT Energy. The materials have been successfully integrated in cylindrical cells to make the high energy density prototype. NAIMA's high-energy density prototype is currently under development.

Our partners have achieved a huge milestone by moving from a cylindric cell to a 48V battery for renewable energy application (EDF 🇬🇧) and industrial application (Gestamp) assembled at CEA. This battery has been shipped to the end-users.
