So proud of the Ecole Connaught Leadership Students for their work planning for our Pride Dance.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ They decided the theme of the dance, created the decorations, assembled and delivered the canteen orders and made sure the gym was decorated and ready! I am one proud teacher!❤️
These Ecole Connaught Preks are loving the addition of the letter blocks in the classroom. They are having so much fun spelling their names, the names of their friends, and the words that they know. #literacy #PlayBasedLearning
These are the books I read to my Ecole Connaught Preks for #pride this week… perfect for their age! Through the books, the Preks also learned about the importance of kindness, belonging, acceptance, diversity & inclusion! We ended the week with making rainbow bracelets!🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
These Ecole Connaught Preks loved pretending that they were at a pow wow. They had so much fun exploring with the hand drum and the jiggle dress. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay
Wishing all of my Regina Public Schools Prekindergarten colleagues a wonderful last day with your little Prek leaders. You have spent a year making wonderful memories with these little ones. Enjoy your last day with them!😊
These Ecole Connaught Preks had so much fun learning how to make bannock. They also enjoyed eating the bannock. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay
Looking forward to a fun morning of teaching the Ecole Connaught students some Cree words and songs! #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay
Thanks for an amazing 8 years Ecole Connaught! I am grateful to have been part of such a wonderful team & to have worked with so many incredible students!! Next year, I will be embarking on a new adventure… switching from Prek to Grade 4/5 at Coronation Park. Can’t wait!😊
Thanks to my Prek leaders, we we were able to collect 2 boxes of dried markers, pens, highlighters, mechanical pencils and the lids from the Ecole Connaught students this year. These items will now be recycled through the @TerraCycleCA program at Staples Canada.
Wishing all Regina Public Schools staff a wonderful first day back to school! Have a great week preparing for your students to return to school next week!😊
Such a great morning at Coronation Park! We were blessed to have Elder Frank lead us through setting up our own tipi for the first time. We also had Diane perform a pipe ceremony for us to participate in. So thankful for these opportunities!
These Coronation Park Grade 5 leaders learned that Procedural Writing is way more fun when pumpkin carving is involved!🎃#ExperientialLearning #LearningThroughPlay
