In JOR Spine we trained a U-Net model for slice-wise segmentation of discs from 3D T1-weighted MRI. Performance was equivalent to manual segmentation, DSC = 0.93, for degeneration grades I–IV. The final trained model is available to for scientific use. doi.org/10.1002/jsp2.7…
