I don’t know why straightforwardness is considered opposite of kindness. They are mutually exclusive, and one can be both. The former just means you are navigating through pleasantries and small talk and nonsense with ease.

I don’t see anything wrong here. Time is an absolute treasure for both here. It’s okay to be straightforward in such things. It’s all business after all. Humble opinion.
