The NZSL online dictionary has had a huge change under the bonnet. After 15 years it was time to say goodbye to our custom database, Freelex, created and maintained by Dave Moskovitz who was also technical editor for the print dictionaries. Thank you for all your support Dave!

The start of a new era! Data for the NZSL Online Dictionary is now stored in NZSL Signbank. The original Signbank tool, developed for Auslan, now has many spinoffs - see github.com/Signbank . The NZSL Signbank was adapted for us by Ackama - thank you!
