Widespread showers and a few storms will overspread the area tonight and continue through Saturday. Much of the area will see an inch or more of rainfall through Saturday, especially across southern KS. This may result in some ponding of water across poor drainage areas #kswx

Climate tidbit: Through the 22nd, this is the warmest October since 1963 for most across central, south-central, and southeast Kansas, with monthly average temperatures about 7-8 degrees warmer than normal. #kswx
