The threat for severe weather (primarily damaging winds) continues tonight especially from Johnstown south and west. This outlook is valid tonight through early Sat AM. We are monitoring for potential strong to severe storms in the Laurel Highlands and Alleghenies between 1-7 AM.

The threat for severe weather has shifted northward for today in the wake of yesterday's storms. Today will still see partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers this afternoon. A few showers could contain a rumble of thunder. Sunday is expected to be dry. #PAwx

Gusty showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to track through Central PA this evening. Most of the region will see dry conditions overnight, though showers will linger over the northwest. #PAwx
