A cold front combined with a strong upper-level disturbance will bring widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches to the region this weekend. This may result in additional rises on area waterways as well as flooding of poor drainage and flood prone areas.

A cold front moving through the region tonight will result in a range of temperatures, with readings in the mid 50s to near 60 degrees northwest, to the upper 60s/near 70 southeast. Isolated to scattered showers and a few storms will remain possible near the front overnight.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch for McCurtain County OK and the northern sections of Southwest AR has been CANCELLED! However, isolated to widely scattered showers and a few storms will remain possible tonight over this area into Northeast TX/North LA along/ahead of a cold front.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 11 pm this evening for McCurtain County OK and the northern sections of Southwest AR. Should any severe storms affect these areas later this evening, damaging winds and large hail would be the primary threats.

Temperature wise, a mild evening is expected across the region as low to mid 60s return. That being said, a cold front will work into the Four State this evening, with the potential to produce a few strong to severe thunderstorms across the western and northwest zones.
