Warm and dry conditions expected into the weekend. Sunday will see highs in the mid to upper 80s and breezy conditions. The next chance of rainfall holds off until Sunday night into Monday.

Dense fog will affect the area this morning reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less. Use caution when travelling this morning. Fog should dissipate by 10am with warm conditions expected this afternoon with highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s.

A warm mid-October day will greet us today with highs in the upper 70s to upper 80s. Rain chances will arrive late tonight with scattered showers possible tonight into Monday.

Minor rain chances from this evening into Monday. For those who see rain, amounts may only be a tenth of an inch. Otherwise, above normal temperatures continue through the week with highs from the mid-70s to the mid-80s.

Scattered light rain chances will continue today through tomorrow morning before drying out through the middle of the week. Temperatures will remain above normal through the week. Highs today will be in the low to mid 70s but we will rise back into the low to mid 80s by Thursday.

A very warm and breezy day is expected today with highs in the low to mid 80s. Similar conditions are expected Friday ahead of a cold front which will bring storms to the area Friday evening/night. Some of these storms may be strong capable of gusty winds 50-60mph a 1 inch hail.

Another unseasonably warm day across the region. Mostly sunny and warm conditions continue into Friday before chances for showers and t-storms return during the evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible with the primary threats being damaging winds and hail.

A cold front will move in today, sparking a few storms—some with gusty winds and small hail. Storm chances continue Saturday with little to no severe threat. Warm today and Saturday, then near-normal temps return Sunday into next week.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are slowly moving into the area. More storms are expected to develop later this evening into the overnight; although not everyone will see rain. An isolated strong to severe storm with damaging winds and hail is possible.

Patchy dense fog across northwest MO will dissipate after sunrise. Mostly dry today, but showers and storms are possible this afternoon and tonight south of a Paola, KS to Macon line, mainly near I-44. Much cooler next week with possible frost Wednesday morning.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Rockville MO until 8:00 AM CDT

Cooler temperatures are expected this week, with lows falling into the 30s on Wednesday and Thursday morning. Winds will decrease through the day today but become gusty again on Monday with 20-30 mph wind gusts expected.

Strong south to southwest winds today will gust 30-40 mph, and occasionally to 45 mph, creating elevated fire weather conditions. Frost remains possible Wed-Thu mornings across northern MO, with widespread rain possible Thu night into the weekend.

Windy conditions today with gusts of 30-40 mph likely. Areas of frost are likely on Wed and Thu AM across northern MO with lows dipping into the 30s. Showers and storms move into the area late Thu PM into Friday AM, with unsettled weather lingering into the weekend.

Areas of frost likely Wednesday and Thursday mornings with lows in the 30s for much of northern MO. The most favorable areas for tomorrow morning will be north of HWY-36 and west of I-35. Sensitive vegetation will need to be protected.
